Editing and re-running
A completed audit's wallet list isn't fixed. Add wallets to widen it, or remove the ones you no longer need, and Wallet Sleuth re-runs the analysis for only the wallets that changed rather than the whole audit. Editing the wallet list only becomes available once the audit has completed a run; a draft, awaiting-payment, running, failed, or cancelled audit has no Add wallets button or wallet tree to edit. The header also carries the controls for a run that failed, is still going, or needs to be scrapped.
Steps
- From the report's Wallets tab, select Add wallets, then paste addresses or drop a spreadsheet. Only the chains the audit already covers are accepted.
- Check the counts shown (new, already in this audit, invalid), then select the button to add the new wallets. Nothing runs yet; they're only queued.
- To remove wallets, select one or more rows in the tree (click one, Ctrl/Cmd-click to add more, Shift-click for a range), then select Remove in the bulk bar, or use the hover action on a single row. Keep undoes a queued removal the same way.
- A banner above the tree summarizes what's queued. Select Confirm changes to re-run the audit for the changed wallets only and refresh the report, or Revert to forget the queued edits.
- If an audit's status is Failed, select Retry audit in the header to run it again; wallets already analyzed are reused where possible. While it's running, Cancel audit stops it in place and keeps whatever finished. Once it's not running, Delete removes the audit and everything under it; both actions ask you to confirm.
Tips
- Adding wallets is open to the owner, an admin, or any member; removing wallets is owner or admin only.
- The bulk bar's Add label, Set names, and Append note actions write immediately to the selected wallets and don't need a Confirm step; only additions and removals are queued.
- A wallet you queue for removal and then mark Keep again, or add and then remove before confirming, is simply left alone.
Common questions
Can I change the chains, depth, or watched assets on an existing audit? No; those are fixed at creation. Start a new audit to change them.
What happens to a finding I'd already reviewed after wallets change? The next completed run recomputes every finding from scratch. If a reviewed finding no longer matches what the new run found, it shows as no longer present rather than disappearing outright; see Reviewing findings.
